  1. Heat 250 ml of water to just before boiling point (≈ 85 °C).
  2. Place the ginger slices in a teapot and pour in 100 ml of water; cover and let it steep for 2 minutes to extract the gingerol.
  3. Add the green tea and continue to infuse for 3 minutes, avoiding any longer so that it does not become bitter.
  4. Strain the infusion into your favorite mug, add the lemon juice, and if you want to sweeten it, gently mix in the honey until it's completely dissolved.
